How to Sign Up
Sign Up with Text Message
Register for text message alerts by texting REG to 544487 (LIGHTS). Have your account number and zip code ready. View all text message commands below. Message and data rates may apply.
Sign Up with Online Account
Sign into your online account and update the Text & Email Alerts page. If you do not already have an online account, Set one up now.
Text us at 544487 to Report Outages
Reporting an outage is easy! Just text “OUT” to 544487.
To register for text messaging, text REG to 544487 (LIGHTS). Once you’re signed up, be sure to save 544487 as a contact to make reporting an outage as easy as possible. Message and data rates may apply. You can send the following commands for outage and account updates:
| REG: | Register for text messages (Requires account number and zip code) |
| OUT: | Report a power outage |
| STAT: | Obtain status on a reported outage |
| BAL: | Obtain your account balance |
| HELP: | Get a list of keywords and link to FAQs |
| PAUSE: | Temporarily stop receiving alerts |
| RESUME: | Reactivate alerts |
| STOP: | Stop current alert you received |
| STOP ALL: | Stop all alerts |
| NICK: | Create a nickname for your account. This may be helpful if you need to retrieve information for multiple accounts (max 12 characters, no spaces or special characters) |
