NITS Rate Information
On October 28, 2016, Met-Ed and Penelec filed forward-looking formula rates with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to better support our efforts to modernize the regional transmission grid and enhance service reliability for customers. If the rates are approved as filed, the increases and effective dates are as listed below.

* As stated by FirstEnergy Corp. (“FirstEnergy” or the “Company”) in its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended September 30, 2022 to the Securities and Exchange Commission, FirstEnergy is implementing recommendations set forth in an audit report issued in FERC Docket No. FA19-1-000 by the Division of Audits and Accounting within the Office of Enforcement of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Pursuant to those recommendations, MAIT revised its 2023 PTRR initially posted on October 5, 2022 and (“Original PTRR”) and ATIS revised its 2023 PTRR postined on October 17, 2022 (“Original PTRR”) to address the related impacts to the 2023 rate year. South FirstEnergy Operating Companies addressed the related impacts in its initial 2023 PTRR posted on October 31, 2022.
