What is eBill?
Our free eBill program is a great way to view and pay your monthly electric bill from your mobile device or computer.

Why should I enroll in the eBill Program?
Our eBill program is an electronic billing program that provides a free, paperless, convenient, and secure way for you to view and pay your electric bill online.
You will receive a monthly email from ElectricOnline@FirstEnergyCorp.com letting you know that your statement is available for review and/or payment. The email will display your bill due date, amount due, and service address.
You can then log in to your online account and access your bill under Billing and Payment History. You can review 12 months of bills, and access your statement as a PDF file. If necessary, you can easily print this file.

How do I enroll in eBill?
First, you must register for an online account if you do not already have one. During the registration process, you can easily enroll your account in eBill.
If you already have an online account with us, log into your account. Under the Billing and Payment Options, eBill select Learn More and Enroll.
Read and accept the terms and conditions (user agreement) and you are on your way to a simple way to view your bill - anytime, anywhere.

How do I register for an online account?
You can register for an online account via our full or mobile websites. Simply click Register for Online Account.
- Enter your account number and service zip code.
- Verify your service address
- Establish your online information
- Name
- Email
- Create Username and Password - Verify all information is correct and submit
- Receive a confirmation email
For your convenience, you can automatically sign up for eBill during the registration process.

Can I enroll in eBill and still receive a paper copy in the U.S. postal mail?
You will not receive a paper copy of your bill in the mail once you enroll in eBill. You can view and pay your bill online or on your smartphone. And, you can save or print a PDF file of your statement from our website if necessary.

I recently enrolled in eBill, why can't I see my electric bill online? Will I be able to see all of my past bills as well?
Once you enroll, your eBill will be available for your next billing cycle and you will be notified via email when your statement is available for review online. You will be able to view up to 12 months of future bills. However, you will not be able to view the bills online that you have received prior to your eBill enrollment.

If I have multiple electric accounts, am I able to enroll each one?
Yes, it is easy. When you are logged in, make sure you have selected an account that is not already enrolled in eBill. Click on "Enroll." All the online registered accounts eligible for enrollment will be displayed. Select the box next to each of the accounts you wish to enroll in eBill, and follow the instructions to complete your enrollments.

How will I know when my bill is available and due since I no longer will receive my bill in the mail?
You will receive an email confirmation and obtain access to your online account upon successful registration. Then, each month, you will receive an email from ElectronicOnline@FirstEnergyCorp.com letting you know that your statement is available for review and payment online.
In addition, you may want to consider signing up for our text alerts if you'd like to receive a reminder via text message.

Is there a way to receive a notification of my bill via text message?
Yes, you can receive monthly billing reminders on your mobile phone. Just sign up for our text and email alerts program.
Select from the following alerts:
- Billing reminders, including alerts when a new bill is available, a payment is due, a payment has been posted, or no payment has been received
- Restoration updates during extended power outages
- Notifications of scheduled power outages
- Severe weather alerts in advance of storms
- Reminder of scheduled meter reading date

Why can't I add the Bill Ready alert email notification for my account?
If you have enrolled your account in eBill, you will already receive an email notification that your bill is ready. In order to avoid a duplicate email, we have excluded the addition of the Bill Ready alert for the same account.

How can I view my bill and bill inserts?
You will receive a monthly email notification from ElectronicOnline@FirstEnergyCorp.com letting you know that your statement is available electronically for review and payment.
Next, log in to your account, then click Bill and Payment. On this page, you will see a list of your bills from the last 12 months. You can view a PDF file of these statements, by clicking on "View eBill" in the last column. The PDF files are only available to customers enrolled in the eBill program.
Our Bill Inserts are also available on the website.

When I click "View eBill" nothing seems to display? Why?
You Check your Internet settings. If you have the pop-up blocker off, you will be prompted to either open or save the PDF. Click “Open” to view your bill. You may also want to check your PDF settings. The PDF might be showing in your downloads or at the bottom of the window that you opened and you will have to open the file to view your bill.

Why if the eBill email notification gets blocked from my email? How do I avoid this?
It is your responsibility to ensure your electric bill is paid each month, even in the event your notification email is not successfully delivered to you (e.g. spam blockers).
To help avoid this issue, you may want to add ElectronicOnline@FirstEnergyCorp.com to your email address book. You can also sign up for monthly billing reminders by text message. If you sign up for text alerts, you can receive monthly reminders on your mobile phone when your bill is available and your payment is due and posted.

How do I cancel my eBill enrollment?
If you wish to cancel your eBill enrollment, you will need to log in to your account, under Billing & Payment Options, eBill Electronic Billing, then select Cancel.
