Financing Options Available

JCP&L is offering access to low- or no-cost financing opportunities for select energy efficiency programs to our customers. Program rebates plus financing opportunities can cover up to 100% of project costs. See the links below for financing opportunities that are available beginning July 1, 2021.

HVAC and Water Heating Equipment
Financing opportunities exist for JCP&L’s residential customers who upgrade to ENERGY STAR ® certified HVAC and Water Heating equipment. Maximum to be financed of up to $15,000 and as low as $2,500 at 0% interest for up to 5 years and up to 7 years for low to moderate income customers.


Home Performance with ENERGY STAR* - Single Family Home
Financing opportunities exist for JCP&L’s residential customers performing qualifying energy efficiency home improvements as recommended by the program guidelines. Maximum to be financed of up to $15,000 and as low as $2,500 at 0% interest for up to 10 years.

 

Multi Family Energy Efficiency Financing Options


Multi Family - Home Performance with ENERGY STAR* 

Financing opportunities exist for JCP&L’s residential, commercial and industrial customers performing qualifying energy efficiency Multi Family building improvements as recommended by the program guidelines. Maximum to be financed of up to $2,000/unit with a maximum of $250,000 per building with 40 units or less. If the building is outside those parameters, it will be approved on a case by case basis by JCP&L. And as low as $2,500 at 0% interest for up to 7 years.

Multi Family – Engineered Solutions 

Financing opportunities exist for JCP&L’s residential, commercial and industrial customers performing qualifying energy efficiency Multi Family building improvements as recommended by the program guidelines. Maximum to be financed of up to $2,000/unit with a maximum of $250,000 per project and as low as $2,500 at 0% interest for up to 5 years and up to 10 years for low to moderate income customers/buildings.

Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Financing Options

Direct Install
Financing opportunities exist for JCP&L’s commercial and industrial customers participating in the Direct Install program. Maximum to be financed of up to $75,000 and as low as $2,500 at 0% interest for up to 5 years.

Prescriptive and Custom – Equipment and/or Building Improvements
Financing opportunities exist for JCP&L’s commercial and industrial customers participating in the Prescriptive and /or Custom programs. Maximum to be financed of up to $150,000 for Prescriptive and up to $250,000 for Custom both as low as $2,500 at 0% interest for up to 5 years. 

Energy Management Program
Financing opportunities exist for JCP&L’s commercial and industrial customers participating in the Energy Management program. Maximum to be financed of up to $250,000 and as low as $2,500 at 0% interest for up to 5 years.

Engineered Solutions
Financing opportunities exist for JCP&L’s commercial and industrial customers participating in the Engineered Solutions program. Maximum to be financed of up to $250,000 and as low as $2,500 at 0% interest for up to 5 years.
