Do Not Transfer List

On January 1, 2025, Potomac Edison residential customers will have the ability to indicate their intention to remain on standard offer service indefinitely and to not receive directed marketing contacts from electricity suppliers by placing themselves on a "Do Not Transfer List." Instructions for inclusion on the "Do Not Transfer List" will be available here on the website at that time.

Energy deregulation allows customers in Maryland to choose their retail electricity supplier. Various competitive retail electricity suppliers may be available in your area. Placing yourself on the "Do Not Transfer List" will inform third-party suppliers that you do not want to receive marketing materials or change from Potomac Edison’s standard offer service.

Unless you specifically request to be included, you will continue to be excluded from the list without any additional action on your part. An election to be included on this list will not prevent Potomac Edison from providing your information to governmental aggregators.
