Third Party Supplier Customer Account Services Master Service Agreement
The Customer Account Services Master Service Agreement outlines the requirements for Third Party Suppliers (TPS) who offer utility consolidated bill services to their customers.
The Customer Account Services Agreement is available on our Web site for easy access by suppliers. Before executing this agreement, a TPS must fulfill the following:
- Obtain a supplier license from the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
- Execute a TPS Agreement with FirstEnergy.
- Demonstrate to FirstEnergy that the TPS has the communications capabilities to comply with EDI standards for exchange of information.
A TPS who is active in FirstEnergy territory as of September 1, 2001, must have an executed Customer Account Services Agreement by November 15, 2001 or their customers will be switched to dual billing, effective with the customer's December 2001 bill. For a TPS who is new to FirstEnergy territory or a TPS who wishes to offer utility consolidated billing for the first time, they may not offer utility consolidated billing until at least 15 days after they execute the Customer Account Services Agreement.
