Appliance Recycling Program
FirstEnergy’s Pennsylvania Electric Companies Appliance Recycling Program is back!
Receive $50 when you recycle your working refrigerator or room AC unit with FirstEnergy’s Pennsylvania Electric Companies Appliance Recycling Program. Receive $25 when you recycle a working freezer.
Have an older, working appliance using energy in your garage or basement? While it may provide additional storage, it’s not worth the additional cost on your electric bill. By recycling your old appliance, you can save over $100* per year in energy costs, and we’ll give you a rebate! We make it easy for you to help the environment… and add money to your wallet.
You have asked, we have responded. PA customers can now recycle stand-alone room AC units! No longer need to accompany a fridge or freezer.
Mini refrigerators and dehumidifiers must be recycled along with a qualifying refrigerator, or freezer.
